The following candidates were awarded a $3,000 scholarship:
Hannah Perry is from Columbus, Indiana and was a previous INOGA scholarship recipient. Hannah graduated from Columbus East High School and is attending Indiana University. Her major is Geological Science.
The following candidates were awarded a $2,000 scholarship:
Lauren Comer is from Georgetown, Indiana. Lauren graduated from Columbus East High School and is attending Purdue University. Her major is Chemical Engineering. Lauren was also awarded the Donald E. Jones, Sr. Scholarship, in the amount of $1000, in memory of the true "Pioneer."
Tyler Goedde graduated from Gibson Southern High School in Fort Branch, Indiana. Tyler plans to attend Missouri University of Science & Technology where he will major in Petroleum Engineering.
The following candidates were awarded a $1,000 scholarship:
Adam Grabert graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Adam plans to attend Hanover College where he will major in Geology.
The requirements for the scholarship are:
Be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Have a financial need determined by the scholarship committee.
Plan to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry.
Be attending college in the coming fall.
Be a resident of Indiana and attending an accredited college.
Be pursuing a bachelor's degree, with preference given for Earth Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Geology majors.
Submit a short essay which describes the applicant’s interest in the oil and gas industry and which career path the applicant is planning to pursue.
